The moving walkway consisted of three platforms, one of which was stationary, while the other two moved at moderate and fast speeds respectively. The walkway had vertical posts with handrails on either side, and seating arrangements could be easily installed on the moving platforms. The video shows people walking and riding on the moving walkway, holding onto the handrails for support. The concept of the moving walkway was ahead of its time and offered a new way of transportation for people. However, due to its high cost of maintenance and creation, the idea was never fully implemented. Nonetheless, the moving walkway remains a beautiful relic of the past and an interesting artifact of the Paris Exposition.
