Dear students, please note that i considered the problems from 2012 syllabus .These are also in 2022 syllabus , but problem numbers are different.

Q 1) A worker works for 8 hours in each shift, but during that time he cllocked for 7 hours on the job. Calculate his utilisation.

Q 2) Standard time for a task is 8 hours. Calculate the efficiency of a workman in the following cases.
a) worker complete the job in 10 hours.
b ) worker completes the job in 6 hours.

Q3) A work shop operates on 2 shifts of 8 hours per day. It has 10 machines , it works for 5 days in a week. Machine utilisation is 90 percent and efficiency of the machine is 85 percent.Calculate the planned capacity of the work shop in standard hours.
