Are you thinking of undertaking a PhD next year or in the future? Are you curious about possible pathways into a PhD, or about what a day in the life of a PhD student looks like? Hailing from a wide range of academic fields and backgrounds, our panellists will elaborate on their PhD experiences, including their journey to undertaking a PhD and how they chose their research focus, and provide their advice for prospective PhD students.

Rose Clifford is a third-year PhD student in psychology at the Research School of Psychology. She completed her undergraduate degrees in science (psychology)and arts (sociology and criminology) at the ANU in 2016 and her honours in psychology in 2017.

Sally Davis is a PhD Candidate in the ANU Centre for Arab & Islamic Studies. She undertook her undergraduate studies at the ANU in International Security and Language Honours

Dr Bal Kama is a lawyer and academic. He has a Bachelor of Arts(Politics/International Relations) and a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of Canberra, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Sydney College of Law and a PhD in law from the Australia National University College of Law.
