Meanwhile, the tenure of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Waqf Board Bill was extended amid opposition demands for broader state-level coverage. Notably, Priyanka Gandhi was sworn in as a Member of Parliament, accompanied by her family. The ongoing standoff signals a potential washout of the session’s first week.
