Encrypted Diary: When I emerged topside, the five-man Ecologist squad, that I had seen at the Burnt Farmstead, was gone. Then I noticed two Ecologists, a white and green suited one, were headed towards me walking along the pipeline. I sought better cover so I could track them, but when they got close to the ship, I couldn't tell which side they were passing on. That's when I got detected and other Ecologists showed up. They even threw a grenade at me.

As I waited for the Ecologists to keep going, hoping they wouldn't want to upset the Loners on the Skadovsk, I saw a Clear Sky squad coming down the hill from the Ranger Station. There were being attacked by a Chimera, and then a Pseudogiant, that I helped with. When I jumped off the ship and ran up the hill, that is when I ran smack into the most dangerous of all the Karlik types, a Phantom Karlik. This type is capable of sending phantom projections, that can drain your health, so I knew I was in for a fight.
