In this video, I'll show you how to paint a plain unfinished ceramic Halloween decoration to transform it into a rustic, vintage style art piece! These stacked jack-o-lanterns were an unfinished ceramic piece from Joann Fabrics, but these painting techniques would work on other Halloween decorations from other stores as well! Learn how to give your decorations rustic textures, vintage patina, & bold lines with this easy step by step Halloween craft tutorial! I chose to switch out the battery operated light to a plug-in clip light reminiscent to the older Halloween ceramic decorations (using a Christmas village house clip light). Give your light up Halloween decoration a warmer glow by using an orange light bulb like I did!

Other info:
I used a mix of chalk paint & acrylic. I prefer chalk paint but didn't have all the colors I needed in chalk paint so I used acrylic instead (which works great too).
The Ceramic Stacked Pumpkins are from Joann Fabrics
Chalk & Acrylic Paints can be found at a variety of craft stores as well as in the Walmart craft section.
