Top US States with the Highest GDP [1963-2018]

Top 15 US states ranked by GPD from 1963 to 2018. California's GDP exceeded New York in 1971 and stayed as highest ranked. Texas's GDP exceeded New York in 2006 and stayed as the second highest ever since. Can New York's GPD play the catch-up and reclaim its old glory days?
