Описание к видео How to Enable USB Debugging on Huawei y6p | Allow USB File Transfer

In this video, I will show you how to enable USB debugging on the Huawei Y6P smartphone.

USB debugging is a way for an Android device to communicate with the Software Developer Kit or SDK over a USB connection. When enabled, it allows an Android device to receive files and commands from the computer and vice versa.
To enable USB debugging on your phone, you will need to unlock the hidden menu called Developer Options.
Depicted in this video is the process of activating the USB debugging feature on Huawei Y6P.
Feel free to refer to this quick demo, if you’re having trouble getting your Huawei smartphone recognized by your computer via USB connection.

Steps
Again, you will need to Unlock the Developer Options on your phone beforehand. Once you've got everything set, you proceed with these steps.

From the Home screen, locate then tap the Settings icon to get started.
Doing so will let you access the main settings menu with all the basic and advanced features you can use and manage.
Scroll down to the bottom of the display. Then, tap System and updates.
The system and updates menu will load up next. Here, you will see a list of all system features.
Locate and then tap Developer options.
Developer options will only become visible if it's already unlocked. If it isn't there, then you will need to unlock it first from the About phone menu. Otherwise, skip to the next step.
From the Developer options menu, scroll down to the Debugging section.
Then toggle to turn on the switch next to USB debugging.
A pop-up window opens, asking if you would allow USB debugging. Tap OK to confirm.
When the switch turns blue, it means that the feature is enabled.
With this feature enabled, your phone should be all set to sync with and be recognized by a computer when connected through a USB cable. Then, you can start copying data between your phone and your computer, install apps on your phone without notification and read log data.
If your phone is still not recognized by your computer even with USB debugging enabled, check the USB configuration selection and make sure it's set to MTP or media transfer protocol.
To do this, simply go back to the Developer Options menu and look for Select USB configuration. Tap the Arrow right next to it and then tap to mark the MTP or Media Transfer Protocol from the given options.
The default selection is typically set to charging, so when you connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable, it will just charge instead of allowing media transfer.

And that’s how to enable USB debugging on the Huawei Y6P smartphone.
This method is also applicable when enabling USB debugging feature on other Huawei smartphones with the same firmware version with that of the Y6P.
