Our road trip has finally begun, and what an incredible first day it has been! After setting off with excitement and anticipation, we made our very first stop at Gariep View Accommodation. Perched high above the vast Gariep Dam, this spot gave us the perfect start to our journey — a peaceful overnight stay with the most breathtaking views stretching as far as the eye can see.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the scenery. Watching the sun sink behind the dam, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, was pure magic. It felt like the perfect reward after our first day on the road, reminding us why we love exploring South Africa and capturing these moments to share.

This stop marks just the beginning of our adventure, and if the first night is anything to go by, we are in for an unforgettable trip! We can’t wait to show you more beautiful places, cozy stays, and hidden gems as we continue our journey together.
