I believe this episode aired on Thursday, 10/04/79.. The episode before Luke rapes Laura.

Mitch knows he's a moving target for the mob. He refers to Tracey as an "asset." (how romantic!). Alan is acting like a proterctive big brother. Scotty & Rick nudge Kirkorian into confessing to purgery. Zelda Berstein arrives at Kirkorian's hotel and learns that she has just lost her case. Rick races home to tell Lesley that they law suit is being dropped. He calls Monica... pregnant hormone tears - LOL. Lesley tells Rick how she managed to soften Kirkorian, (this is what we later hear Howard refer to as R&L's "power play" to break Kirkorian) then she calls Laura to share the news.. Laura is thrilled and she tells her mother that her news "makes everything right again." "Even her quarrel with Scotty".. "She can't wait for Scotty to pick her up from work tonight."
