A Muslim family in Jammu, known as Miyan Ji, has been keeping the Dogra royal attire alive for over 70 years. These handmade royal dresses preserve the traditions from the era of Maharaja Hari Singh and are still worn during weddings and special occasions.

The craft has been passed down through generations and is now carried on by Raza Khan and his son Arshad. The dresses are in high demand not only in Jammu but also in neighboring states.
