How to replace old, damaged, scratched, and used up rubber key pad from Audi flip key remote. Check out this tutorial to see how to do it step-by-step. You will something to pry the #remote cover (fox example small flat screwdriver) and T-6 or T-5 torx screwdriver. New part is cheap and can be found on AliExpress for less than $2 with shipping.

➡️ Open the flip key, pry side lock of the battery cover, then pry it from the key ring side. Remove 3 torx screw and gently lift half of the key assembly, rotate it clockwise to release tension from the spring. Slide the white locking mechanism downwards while prying it a little bit. Then remove black plastic tray that hold the rubber #button pad. Replace it with new one and assemble everything back in place.

⚠️ Remember that you need to wind up the spring counter-clockwise for the flip key to work properly.

ℹ️ While the remote is disassembled you can clean it. There will be no better moment for that.
