You probably have seen post on reddit claiming that better group has impact on your drops and being with higher power team mates increase quality of your drops. Well, it is not hard to test and since i saw that post i started taking notes about my expedition team members. So far i have data from 48 runs in the heart of rage on grandmaster 1 difficulty.
48 runs since - total amount of drops were identical - 540 drops, so javelin power doesn't influence how many items you will see in any way, bottom 24 runs gave me 12 more blue items and 10 less purple items, masterwork items were same 51 v 49, legendary items..well, got more by playing with higher javelin power guys than lower, but i wouldn't draw any conclusions for now because nothing else is supporting that javelin power has anything to do with drop quality - on contrary - same amount of blue, purple and masterwork items tell me that it doesn't matter at all and what is important - sample for those drops is big enough - more than 200 blues, 700 purple and 100 masterworks, while if we take a look at legendary items i only got 14 in total.
