This is the Grand opening of the Health Sciences Simulation Lab. In attendance were members of the administration (Dr. Anthony Fior and Mr. Dave Sabol), club officers, science department members, benefactors (Dr. Neil Smith '76 and Dr. David Miller), etc. The Lab was blessed by Father Guiao and the ribbon was cut by Dr. Joe Moses '66 (who has been an instrumental figure for the Health Sciences Program). The state of the art lab will enable those students interested in the field of healthcare to gain exposure to and practice skills using a wide array of medical devices and equipment. They will be able to practice hand-eye coordination using the laparoscopy surgical training box and the knot tying and suturing boards. Learn how to properly intubate and perform CPR on manikins. And, enhance their understanding of the human body using the Anatomage, a 3D dissecting table.
