I have taught hundreds of Polymer Clay classes to students of all ages and abilities and these products are the SAME ones I used to set up the classroom tool kits, and rarely did we run into a project that these tools couldn't tackle. Honestly you could probably just get started with your hands and a block of clay- but these items will make sculpting a lot easier!

Examples of tiles: 4"x4"- . 88 Cents a piece ( I'd buy one or two) and I create on a large rectangle ceramic tile - or 12" x 12".

Around you house look for:
-toothpicks
-Straws - to make clean holes in clay
-PVS piping that can be cut into a roller
-acrylic blocks used for rubber stamping
-cookie cutters
-anything that can make texture
Ceramic tiles or pieces of countertop or granite from home projects that can be used as a work surface
