Carrie has been suffering with B12 deficiency since the pregnancy of her son. She has fought with her Doctors for a diagnosis, but 2 years on...nothing, sadly being let down by the NHS.
Dr Chris on 'This Morning' checked her bloods and diagnosed her with B12 deficiency within 10 minutes.

Carrie found out about these deficiencies from an Holistic Therapist in Burnley called Michelle Jackson. An amazing women with a wealth of knowledge about the body.

Carrie called me in November when I was suffering with yet another chest infection and asked me to print my bloods.

Thank God for Carrie, Michelle indirectly and Professor Toby Richard's, Dr Caitlin Scott and Dr Rao Bicardy from The Iron Clinic. I've been diagnosed with Low Ferritin. Sadly again, like Carrie, no help from my Doctors. I'd been suffering 4 and a half years. Even now my Doctors are not recognising or following my progress, even after calling the surgery and emailing.

Carrie and I are now on a mission to help as many people as possible and to try and change or adapt a traffic light system to the NICE NHS guidelines.

This was the first of what we hopefully believe will be many social awareness interviews.

Carrie was amazing on This Morning and I'm so proud.

Ferritin and B12 are different deficiencies, but it is worth checking both out in one blood test.
