The interim boundaries review commission has finally published the final list of the proposed 290 constituencies as per the recommendation of the new constitution. The list which incorporates an addition 80 new constituencies to the existing 210 proposes the redrawing of many constituency boundaries with some of the existing constituencies being renamed altogether. However the new list of the country's electoral map that should be used in the 2012 general election ran into a brick wall after the high court stopped its gazettment.
