Jeremy Day - Ernest Bevin Sixth Form Graduation 2016

Before announcing Bilaal Ahmed as the 5th Naz Bokhari Award winner, Jeremey Day, colleague to the late Naz Bokhari, shared some of the experiences he and Bevin Boys have had the chance to join because of the Naz Legacy Foundation.

The Naz Bokhari Award is an annual award for students who achieve university acceptance despite adversity, who have to strive harder than others due to personal or social issues. This award will recognise resilience and perseverance, qualities that Naz had, and promoted.

We would like to thank Mr Nilkanrai Patel for sponsoring this year's award and would like to congratulate Bilaal on graduating from Ernest Bevin College attaining a place at King's College London in Medicine.
