Описание к видео WHAT CAREERS MIGHT MY PhD IN ARTS AND HUMANITIES LEAD TO? Film 9 of 15

People undertake PhDs in the arts and humanities for many different reasons. As far as careers, the options are diverse and don't only lead into academia.

We talk to AHRC-funded students and supervisors about the skills that PhD study develops and the wide range of options that are open to those with those skills as well as the doctoral qualification. It includes those who return to an industry with the knowledge they've gained, building a cycle of industry and academic practice; also those who get inspiration to be self-employed and those who move into new industries or practices.
