Great Vow Zen Monastery hosts Dharma teacher Rebbeca Li.
In this talk Rebecca speaks about her training with Master Sheng Yen and the power of vow in her practice.

Rebecca Li is the only female, lay Dharma successor of Master Sheng Yen's lineage of Chan Buddhism in the U.S. She began practicing with Master Sheng Yen in the 1990s and served as his translator for ten years, until his death in 2009. As a teacher and retreat leader, she supports various dharma communities, including the Chan Dharma Community. She is also author of the recent book Allow Joy into Our Hearts: Chan Practice in Uncertain Times.
