We're taking a break from our usual slow travel lifestyle in Koh Lanta, Thailand. We always like to remind friends that a slow travel lifestyle is not a vacation. But in this video, we're breaking away from our usual routine and going on vacation to beautiful Koh Lanta!

One of the advantages of a slow travel lifestyle is that when you feel like you need a break from your daily life, you have access to new and exotic vacation destinations near where you're currently traveling. Between our slow travel apartment rentals in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, we decided to take a weekend getaway to do some snorkeling and soak up the sun on the beach in Koh Lanta in southern Thailand. Koh Lanta is known to be quieter and less touristy than some of the other more popular Thai islands, but there is still a lot to do here! There are plenty of food to try, beaches to check out, and day tours to join.
