Polo is not only Baltistan's most famous rather it is the most famous game of entire Northern Area of Pakistan. Which is called the King of games. Initially the intend of their game was of war . To hit the ball was considered to be hit enemies.
Perhaps for these reasons some foreign historians named it a wild game.
From Baltistan's ancient folk lore classics it is evident that this game was being played in the area and vicinity for thousands of years, and from this fact we come to know that the history of this game is very old and Baltistan is the pioneer of this game...!!!
