In this video, we present the MDS-DB500 Double Shaft Shredder customized for our Greece customer, operating on 380V 50Hz 3-phase power with 7.5kW × 2 motors. The complete system includes a double shaft shredder, conveyor belt, and a strong magnetic separator, working together to efficiently process cables and aluminum scrap that contain iron impurities.

The double shaft shredder is the core of the system. Its slow-speed, high-torque cutting design allows it to tear and shear mixed materials such as scrap cables and aluminum scrap smoothly and continuously. This design reduces dust, lowers noise, and ensures stable output even when processing iron-containing materials.

After shredding, the material is transferred automatically by the conveyor belt, which provides steady and controlled feeding to the next stage. This reduces manual handling, improves workflow efficiency, and keeps the processing line organized and safe.

The strong magnetic separator is installed above the conveyor to remove iron and steel components from the shredded material. This step is essential when processing aluminum scrap and cables with metal contamination, as it helps improve the purity of the final non-ferrous output and prepares the material for further recycling or resale.
