Small business owners and market vendors across Karnataka have started protesting against the GST demands on UPI transactions. These small-scale business owners are expressing their concerns. Traders whose total UPI payments have exceeded 40 lakhs in a single year have now received GST notices. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar stated that the number of notices could be around 14,000. He also mentioned that the state would write to the Centre to withdraw these notices and has blamed the BJP for this issue.
