Tobias Menzies on the chilling adventure at the heart of The Terror - Exclusive Interview

Stefan Pape interviews Rome and Game of Thrones actor Tobias Menzies for his new show The Terror, in which je stars as Commander James Fitzjames, alongside Jared Harris, Paul Ready, Adam Nagaitis, Ian Hart, Nive Nielsen, Greta Scacchi and Ciaran Hinds.

He talks about being drawn to the real life story nature of the adventure, and reuniting with his Rome co-star Ciaran Hinds.

The crew of a Royal Naval expedition searching for the Arctic's treacherous Northwest Passage discovers instead a monstrous predator. The crews aboard the Royal Navy's polar explorer ships HMS Erebus and HMS Terror venture into uncharted territory seeking the Northwest Passage. The ships are soon stuck, frozen and isolated, and those aboard must survive the harsh weather conditions and each other, while being stalked by an elusive menace.
