Who Do You Protect? is a short documentary that examines the corruption of the LA police union and their relationship to the district attorney and legislatures through the story of Daniel Hernandez. Daniel was a young man who was murdered by LAPD officer, Toni McBride, whose father heads the union. There have been no repercussions for this killing, and the Hernandez family have fought for justice for Daniel and all victims of police violence since.

This documentary was produced by The Future Left, an activist coalition of artists and filmmakers based in LA. Made in partnership with People's City Council LA.
