A two storey building was on fire today at No, 2 Ogunlana Street Oshodi Market and the cause of the fire is yet unknown.

However, before the arrival of the firefighters, some men in the vicinity has been trying to quench the inferno while others were helping to carry out properties and goods worth millions in the shops.

Hon. Famous a resident and business man who called the Lagos State Emergency Response Team, says; I was in a meeting with a friend in my office before I had noise and I came out suddenly I saw the next building to my office is on fire.

Immediately i called LASEMA and before twenty to fifteenth minutes they team arrived at the scene and I really appreciate their quick response, same goes to the men in this vicinity for their fearless act of battling the inferno before firefighters arrived.

The team of LASEMA decline to speak with our reporter based on professional ground because they are not yet sure of what is the cause of the fire incident but promised to put a call through once they have conduct investigation.
