Deep Learning is more accessible than ever, but most developers have not had an opportunity to use this technology first-hand. Jason Klein with Logic Forte will cover practical examples to use Deep Learning services and models that you can integrate into your applications.

• During the first half hour, Jason will demonstrate how to use existing cloud APIs that provide access to established Deep Learning models (e.g. analyze/identify photos and videos, language processing and sentiment analysis, build chatbots that respond to text or audio questions, convert text to lifelike speech, convert speech or voicemail to text, and translate text to/from any language).

• During the second half hour, he will demonstrate how to quickly launch a Deep Learning environment and begin using existing Deep Learning models to identify images or digits without making API calls. These models can potentially be integrated directly into your web or mobile application (e.g. using TensorFlow and Keras).

The API examples will be specific to AWS, but Google, IBM, and Azure provide similar APIs. Jason will publish code examples to GitHub (Jason-Klein) and do a LIVE walk-through of each example. The group can deep dive into specific examples during Q&A and he will stick around to help you get code working locally if you’d like. _If there is enough interest, he can host a followup meeting to deep dive into building and training custom Deep Learning models using Keras, TensorFlow and several other Python tools!
