Trans people, especially trans youth, deserve the opportunity to play sports. Every young person should have access to the camaraderie, teamwork, and personal growth that athletics offer. Trans athletes, including those at the Olympic level, are not dominating sports. The few who have achieved major victories earned them through dedication and hard work. Sports have never been perfectly fair, and that’s part of what makes them so human.
