How to Guide: Solid Gel Facial Mask

Описание к видео How to Guide: Solid Gel Facial Mask

Inspired by the Korean beauty sheet masks, this solid gel mask delivers a blast of thirst-quenching hydration to skin. USDA Certified Organic Agar Agar is completely vegan from marine algae and holds all the wonderful active ingredients in a solid gel. For this mask, we chose Argireline Peptides for their amazing ability to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but you can certainly include your own actives instead. This mask is cooling and refreshing leaving your skin feeling baby soft, hydrated and with a dewy glow!

Cucumber Facial Toner 0.9270 1 ¾ Cups 92.70%
Certified Organic Agar Agar powder 0.0116 1 Tbsp 1.16%
Argireline Peptide Solution 0.0603 2 Tbsp 6.03%
Phenoxyethanol 0.0011 1/8 Tsp 0.11%

Directions
1. Prep your sheet mask paper – we suggest wax paper but choose what works for you. Be sure you place your paper onto a surface with a lip so that when you pour the mask onto the paper, it has a border and doesn’t just flow all over your work surface. We used a small plate to create a round shape but, feel free to be creative in the shapes you make.
2. In a stove top safe pot or beaker mix together cucumber toner and Agar.
3. Bring to a boil stirring frequently. Be careful not to let the Agar Agar settle at the bottom as it will scorch. Boil for 2 -3 minutes to fully hydrate the Agar Agar.
4. Remove from heat and add the Argireline Peptide Solution and Phenoxyethanol and stir well.
5. Pour your mask onto your prepped sheet paper. You will pour approximately ¼ - ½ ounce. Be sure not to pour your mask too thick or it will not remain in one piece. Your mask should be about ¼ centimeter thick for a full facial mask. You could certainly pour more if you just wanted to make eye gels.
6. Let masks cool and solidify before packaging them up.
7. Use anytime for a burst of hydration!
