Virtual Run | Tarka Trail to Instow via Bideford, England | Treadmill Running Scenery

Join me on a scenic 11-mile (17.7km) run along the Tarka Trail in Devon. Starting from Watergate Bridge, we head north to passing through Bideford before finishing just past Instow. We start in a forested area, crossing large bridges over the River Torridge and passing through tunnels along the way before finishing along the estuary in Instow. The average pace is 6.38 per mile or 4.07 per km.

The run was actually recorded on two separate days in July and August. The reason for this is because a lot of the footage from the second half of the run got corrupted on my hard drive and was unrecoverable, so I had to re-run the second half again when I went back in August. I've also re-edited the video to cut out the camera pans based on feedback from other viewers. This was one of my earlier virtual runs and at this point I hadn't learnt to hold the camera steady enough or control my breathing as well, so the quality isn't quite up to my usual standard!
