Catch and Cook! IKE JIME **WIRE THROUGH SPINAL CORD** Why???

David invited me to do some rock fishing from shore. Couldn't pass up the chance! The plan today was to catch two fish. One we would not bleed or gut at all, and the other we would preform a Japanese method of cleaning the fish called Ike Jime. You destroy the spinal cord by inserting a small wire through the spinal cord. This breaks down the nerves and stops chemicals from being released into the meat of the fish.
