Hey, y'all, it's me, Unpopular Didi, aka Thanima Francis, in today's video, I’m sharing my experience with Laser Skin and Esthetics of Canada, where I got my laser hyperpigmentation and hair removal.
I had a great session with the laser expert who counselled me on issues related to skin. She is knowledgeable and kind. The environment of the place was very inviting. I will be posting a video about the results soon.

Laser Hair Removal :
1. Redness : regarding laser hair removal it may happen due to Erythema - Erythema is another name for redness it happens when you shave, when you wax, thread and when you do laser hair removal. Not everyone experiences Erythema with laser hair removal. It may appear in 3 forms - redness, mild hives, or itchiness. You may experience one , all 3 or none at all. Aloe vera or hydrocortisone .5% may be applied immediately after your laser hair removal treatment.
2. Why Redness Occurs: Laser Hair removal goes through the melanin and keeps surrounding tissue intact; however, it can cause temporary redness due to follicle damage
Heat Absorption by Hair Follicles: The laser targets the melanin in hair follicles, heating them to disrupt future hair growth. This heat can cause temporary redness in the surrounding skin.
Inflammatory Response: The body naturally responds to the laser treatment by increasing blood flow to the area, leading to mild redness and sensitivity.
Follicular Edema (Swelling Around Hair Follicles): Tiny red bumps may appear around hair follicles, showing that the treatment is working. This is a sign that the follicles have been effectively targeted. This may lead to an itchy feeling.
Pigmentation Corrections:
1. Redness - The laser targets excess pigmentation in the skin, breaking down melanin clusters. This process generates heat, which can cause temporary redness and inflammation.
2. Increased Blood Flow: The laser stimulates circulation in the treated area, leading to increased blood flow and mild flushing as the skin begins to heal.
3. Skin Sensitivity: Since we are focusing on pigment correction, the skin may become temporarily more sensitive and reactive, leading to slight irritation or redness.
Inflammatory Response: The body's natural healing response triggers inflammation as it works to clear away pigment and repair the skin, which can present as redness.
