Delhi School Bomb Threat: Over 50 Delhi Schools Targeted In 2nd Hoax Email Scare This Week

Over 50 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Wednesday. Among the targeted institutions were SKV Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Karol Bagh, police said.

The threats came barely 48 hours after at least 32 schools across the capital were targeted with similar emails, triggering large-scale panic and evacuation drives before authorities confirmed them to be hoaxes.

On Monday, Delhi Fire Services said it received calls from 32 schools between 7.30 am and 12.25 pm after they found threatening emails in their inboxes. Most of those institutions were in Dwarka, including Delhi Public School, BGS International Public School, Shri Venkateshwar School, Global School, and several others. DPS Dwarka had even sent children back home, announcing closure for the day.
