United states' Railways are not so great when compared to its European counterparts. But there are several Main stream trains which cris cross the vast expanse of the country, The various modes of unban transportation like BART, VTA, the light rail system in Port land, Mono Rail system in Portland to name a view, do provide good service to the people of the country.

Even the railways as a form of transportation of the people is not very popular due to widespread use of Air planes and USA's excellent net work of roads. I may also add the culture of the people as people want to have their privacy so that use their cars instead.

USA also has preserved their great and splendid Railways system that once existed in the form of museums and in recreational parks across the country.

There are also exotic train namely Pacific Starlight train which runs from Seattle to Los Angles along the western coast which sees good patronage

I had the privilege of travelling in many trains in each category which I am presenting to you.
