Miquel Garcia Explains How Antigua's Environmental Awareness Group Is Protecting Marine Areas

On July 18, Miquel Garcia shared the Environmental Awareness Group is protecting marine areas across Antigua and Barbuda.

Miquel Garcia is a Wildlife Conservationist with seven years experience working on Sea Turtle and Marine conservation projects across the Caribbean.

Graduating with an MSc in Integrated Coast and Ocean Management from the University of Trinidad and Tobago, he is currently the Antigua Marine Conservation Programme (AMCP) Coordinator at the Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) which is one of the longest standing environmental NGOs in Antigua and Barbuda.

Using his passion for the marine environment as a foothold, Miquel plans to be one of the driving forces within the region pushing forward the ideals of sustainability, conservation, and love for the oceans we all call home.
