In this Challenge we both opted to go with Hammer.
The Hammer provides KO, Demon Powder, and Hardshell Powder, 2 Mega Barrel Bombs, 2 Large Barrel Bombs, paralysis, good offense, as well as some Health Boost.

The target Barroth in this quest will always be larger than normally possible (and thus Gold Crown). It will therefore hit you much more easily with all of its physical attacks. Try to not stay in front of it. Utilizing the slope can also be of great use especially with Hammer.

4:38 Beating this Challenge exclusively rewards you with the SFV Ticket. This can be used to craft Ryu's full armor set. This is a low rank set and while being quite strong for that stage it sadly is of no use at this point of the game.
