Is rapper Speaker Knockerz dead? The 19-year-old was reportedly found dead in his South Carolina home on Thursday. Speaker Knockerz, whose real name is Derek Jamol McAllister Jr., was supposedly confirmed dead by the Richland County Coroner's Office. The cause of death is still unclear, but police do not suspect foul play.

According to ElevatorMag.com, Speaker Knockerz was missing for several days before he was reportedly found dead. His mother, Mesha Wilson, was reportedly asking for prayers on Facebook after she had not seen her child since March 4. The 19-year-old had also not tweeted since that date. ElevatorMag reported that Speaker Knockerz may have died of a heart attack, but that has not been confirmed.

Before his rumored death, Speaker Knockerz was an up-and-coming rapper. He had more than 58,000 followers on Twitter and more than 86,000 subscribers on YouTube. While he was not yet signed to a record label, the audio for his song "Rico Story" was picked up by the popular World Star Hip Hop website.

Speaker Knockerz's reported death comes just months after another young rapper, Lil Snupe, was killed in a shooting. A man named Tony Holden later turned himself in after allegedly killing the 18-year-old in a fight during a video game session.
