In this video I introduce my newly grafted Pomato plant which is a tomato plant grafted onto a potato plant. The growth above the ground is a tomato plant allowing a crop of tomatoes to be harvested and the roots below ground belong to a potato plant allowing a crop of potatoes to be harvested at the end of the season. I explain about how I grafted the two plants together and what I expect will happen as they grow. Potatoes and tomatoes although related are very different in the way they grow and the climate that they like so it is surprising that the two can be grafted so easily.
