So I finally did something....I bought a new carburetor! I picked up a Holley 2300 Street Avenger. I usually will try to refurbish any parts or rebuild a carburetor when working on my trucks but decided to give in a buy a new one! Im definitely happy that I did especially since this Holley Street Avenger is 500 CFM. this video will go over the installation process and how easy Holley makes it. The carburetor is going in my 1974 F350 which has a 390 FE, should wake it up just a little.

The carburetor comes with just about everything you need for the install. You will need to order ball studs for the throttle, Holley part number 20-2 which is an assortment of sizes. Also depending on your application if you have an automatic transmission you will need to connect your kick-down linkage.

Now if some of you remember I'm trying to go for fuel economy rather than power with this 390. I have a few other parts that you guys will see in an upcoming video to help with making sure the 390 FE is running as efficient as possible.
