upcountry is SO underrated...

We loved upcountry so much we went twice. 🙂

Upcountry is seriously SO underrated. It makes sense because a lot of people go to Hawaii to go to the beach, and for an excursion do Road to Hana and then head to upcountry only for Haleakala sunrise or sunset and leave. (Which okay, at least do sunrise or sunset but if you can definitely explore moreeeee)

The lavender farms were sooo pretty
and gave us a view of the island from high up (which you can’t really do on haleakala because you’re above the ☁️☁️☁️)

We also loved makawao and strawberry picking in our last upcountry video!
