The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway held their Diesel Gala during June 2024. The guest locomotives for the event were:

1:17 BR Class 50 No 50021 Rodney and BR Class 14 No D9520 arrive at Keighley with a service from Haworth.

2:27 In 2019, GBRf announced a project to convert BR Class 56 locomotives to Class 69. This involved the fitting of a Class 66 engine to a Class 56 body. The class currently totals to 16. No 69009 Western Consort was originally built as 56060 and is finished in BR Maroon Livery.

4:58 From the Level Crossing, we see Class 50 No 50021 Rodney depart Oakworth with a train for Haworth. Built in May 1968, she lasted until April 1990 and is now based at Eastleigh Works.

5:55 Later, Class 50 No 50051 Rodney is being piloted by BR Class 52 Western No D1015 Western Champion as they arrive into Oakworth.

6:51 BR Class 14 No D9520 arrives at Ingrow West with a shuttle. On the rear is Mersey Docks & Harbour Board No D32 Huskisson. The Dock Shunter runs into Ingrow West Yard.

8:35 BR Class 52 Western No D1015 Western Champion was built at Swindon in 1961. She was withdrawn in 1977 and operates on the Main Line on specials. She is based at The Severn Valley Railway.

9:23 BR Class 52 Western No D1015 Western Champion departs Haworth towards Keighley.

10:24 BR Class 50 Nos 50021 Rodney and 50007 Thunderer depart Haworth with GBRf Class 69 No 69009 Western Consort tailing. Due to work being undertaken on Bridge 27, a temporary speed restriction of 10MPH has been placed on it.

11:57 At Haworth Shed, we see BR Class 37 No 37250. Based at The Wensleydale Railway, it has recently been finished in EWS Livery.

12:03 BR Class 37 No 37250 arrives at Haworth with a service for Keighley.

12:44 At Damems Loop, we see BR Class 50 No 50007 Thunderer sat in the loop with a service for Oxenhope. Again, the Class 69 is on the back.

14:00 BR Class 37 No 37250 departs Ingrow West with a service for Keighley.

14:50 BR Class 50 No 50021 Rodney heads through Ingrow West Station with the Demonstration Goods for Damems Loop. BR Class 14 No D9520 is tailing the train. Later, the Teddy Bear heads the freight back towards Keighley with the Hoover on the back.

16:47 BR Class 52 Western No D1015 Western Champion leaves Haworth with a passenger service for Oxenhope.

17:42 BR Class 50 Nos 50021 Rodney and 50007 Thunderer arrive at Haworth with a service for Oxenhope.

18:38 Whilst waiting for the pair of Class 50s to uncouple from the rear of the train. We see BR Class 08 No 08993 Ashburnham partaking in shunting of BR 4MT 4-6-0 No 75078 at Haworth Shed. This locomotive has a cut down cab to enable it to run on the Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway which had very low bridges.

21:22 BR D2/12 No D2511 arrives at Keighley with the shuttle from Ingrow West.

22:08 We end with BR Class 37 No 37075 departing Keighley with a passenger train for Oxenhope.
