I had the honor of meeting and becoming friends with Larry Fine for the last five years of his life, and when I moved to California I visited him often at the Motion Picture Country House in Woodland Hills after his stroke. He never lost his sense of humor or his joy of friendship. Here we are on 57th Street in front of my dad's store, which was next door to the National Association of Christians and Jews, as Larry points out with his two-sided medallion.
