If you've ever been frustrated by mixing your Resistad gutta to the right consistency, this video will help demystify the process. I've included tips for how to check your consistency, how to load your gutta applicator bottle, and how to mix the all-elusive perfect black.

*Pro tip: To mix the perfect deep black tone with dyes, I use equal parts water, scarlet, Kelly green and black, then add an equal amount of water to dilute the concentrate. (I use Jacquard Red Label silk dyes.) I always keep a pot of mixed black dye on hand, and it's perfect for creating a black gutta.
