Herman Rock Cut, Tama Siding and the Abandoned Soo Line Bridge.

So I got to Herman early and had time to walk down the L'Anse Hill northbound. I climbed the rock cut and picked my spot-too many trees for clear viewing but I was happy with the result anyway! Then it was on to Tama Siding where I knew I had a couple hours to kill so I went for a ride in Herman Hills. I only saw two loggers the whole time I was in the area -from 8:30 to 1! Some nice reds appearing and getting us ready for the color season! The Soo Line bridge walk was from Monday and a spur of the moment decision. The tracks are still there for a long ways to the west but US 41 is where the tracks end to the NE. THe ties are getting spongy and I was hesitant to walk far out on the bridge since noone knew I was there! Last but definitely not least-God Bless our fallen from 911 and never forget!
