In this video i am sharing a complete information on HOW TO APPLY China tourist VISA.


Check jurisdiction
First of all check jurisdiction to apply visa with respective embassy/consulate as per your passport issued place and current address.
The China Visa Application Service Center in New Delhi handles applications for areas including Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Chandigarh.
Maharashtra, Karnataka -Apply in MUMBAI.
Orissa,West Bengal,Chhattisgarh,Jharkhand,Bihar - Apply in KOLKATA


2. Decide visa type & entries

For tourism, you apply for the L-visa.


Decide if you need single-entry, double-entry, or multiple‐entry depending on your travel plans.
It is suggested to apply for single entry if are applying first time.


3. Prepare required documents
Here are the typical documents required for a tourist visa from India via Delhi:

Your original passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of application, with at least 2 blank visa pages.
Photocopy of passport data page
Completed visa application form (filled online) and printed confirmation page.

A recent colour passport-sized photo with white background (face full front).
Photo Specifications
It must be a color photo, taken recently within the last 6 months.
Of 35mm x 45mm dimension.
With 80% face coverage.
With WHITE background only and NOT wearing white clothes.
On GLOSSY paper only (Matte and Semi Matte photographs will not be accepted).
Eyeglasses are allowed except thick-rimmed, tinted, or glare glasses. There should NOT be any reflection due to eyeglasses.



• 1. Invitation Letter from Chinese Travel Agency (1) Information of the applicant (incl. full name, gender, date of birth, etc.);
(2) Details of the planned visit (incl. arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, accomodation arrangements, etc.);
(3) Information of the inviting party(incl. name of organization or person concerned, contact telephone number, address, official stamp of the organization, signature of the legal representative or individual).

2. Applicant's personal covering letter (incl. purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, information of the inviting party, such as inviting party's name, address, contact person's name, contact telephone number, etc.)
3. NOC/ Certification letter from the local employer of the applicant (with details as follows: name and contact number of the employer, the applicant’s income statement),
4. original recent 6-month bank statement of the applicant with balance of at least INR150,000 and with stamp and signature of the bank.
3. If you are working or studying in India, please provide your company's or school's certification letter (incl. company's name, or school's name, address, contact person's name, contact telephone number, applicant's income, etc.)

5. Submit application & pay fees

Visit the Centre with your full set of documents and original passport.
Submit the form, documents, pay the visa fee + service fee. Payment method may vary (check centre for cash / card).
The visa fee depends on entry type (single, double, multiple) and processing time.
If you need faster processing (“express” or “urgent”), there are extra charges.


6. Processing time & collection
Standard processing time (if all documents correct) is around 8-10 working days.
Express processing time 4-5 working days

After approval, you collect your passport with visa at the Centre (or via courier if that service is available).

Please note :

Appointment is not required for submission.
Visa is granted 3 months validity from the date of issue with 30 day stay.
