Irish pubs closed one year as businesses warn of Dublin decay

Dublin city could become another Detroit in terms of urban decay unless the Government takes action, according to business representatives.

The Temple Bar Company, which represents businesses in the area, says a forum needs to be set up now to prepare for the reopening later this year once Covid-19 restrictions are eased.

The company marked the one year anniversary of the closure of pubs in the area with a traditional music lament during the run-up to St Patrick's Day which is usually one of the busiest periods.
