After a major CBI raid on former MLC Dr. Sarojini Agarwal's NCR Institute of Medical Sciences in Meerut, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has officially declared the 2025-26 MBBS session as “zero.” The action comes amid allegations of large-scale irregularities and bribery in the name of increasing seat capacity and seeking recognition.

The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) has released a provisional seat matrix showing zero MBBS seats for NCR Medical College this year. This means the institute will not be part of NEET counseling 2025-26.

The NCR Medical College, formerly known as Mulayam Singh Yadav Medical College, was established in 2015 during the SP government's tenure. The institution had gradually increased its MBBS intake from 100 to 150 seats, and this year sought approval for 200. However, following a CBI investigation and NMC inspection, serious discrepancies came to light.

College principal Dr. S.K. Garg confirmed the zero session news but refrained from commenting in detail. Dr. Sarojini Agarwal also refused to make any statement.
