CTA "L" Train System : Holiday Train, Brown, Orange, Pink & Purple Line @ Washington/Wells

Here's another compilation video from my trip to Chicago last month, this time, at Washington/Wells Station in the Chicago Loop.

What you'll see here are several trains of Budd 2600-Series cars, Morrison-Knudsen 3200-Series Cars & Bombardier 5000-Series cars operating on the Brown, Pink, Purple & Orange lines arriving & departing from Washington/Wells Station. What you'll also see here is the Allstate Holiday Train operating on the Pink Line to 54th/Cermak as well.

One of the coolest things about the CTA is that during the holiday season, they run two things, a holiday bus which is often an articulated bus on various lines, and a holiday train, which runs on every line(on different days) for the month that it is running. This is one of the few systems in the country that actually goes all-out for their holiday celebrations.

The holiday train consists of six Budd 2600-Series cars, and a flatbed car which was made out to be Santa's Sleigh.
