The Arizona Desert is the last place you’d expect to find rainforest animals, unless you visit the Phoenix Zoo. In addition to Elephants, Tigers, and Orangutans, Phoenix’s Tropics Trail contains several sub-attractions, including the Tropic Flights, Monkey Village, and the focus of today’s tour: The Forest of UCO. A loop that takes visitors off the main path and into a simulated South American Jungle. The centerpiece of the Forest is a habitat for Andean Bears, which is viewable from all around the trail. Throughout the Forest is an assortment of smaller jungle creatures, from Primates to Birds, Reptiles, and Invertebrates.
